Great news for registered pharmacists looking to upgrade their qualifications! The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has officially opened admissions for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Practice) course for the academic year 2025-26.
This two-year undergraduate program is being offered across Government, Government-Aided, University Departments, and Private Pharmacy Institutes in Maharashtra. The entire admission process is being conducted online, with flexibility for document verification – a first in its kind for this program.
Eligibility for B. Pharmacy (Practice) 2025-26
Candidates must fulfill the following criteria to be considered for admission:
- Must be a citizen of India
- Must have completed a Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India
- Must be a registered pharmacist
- Should have at least 4 years of experience in a hospital or community pharmacy
- Must have a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer
Two Ways to Verify Documents: Choose What Suits You
For the first time, candidates can choose how they want to verify their documents:
- E-Scrutiny Mode: Upload documents online and get them verified digitally. No need to visit a center in person.
- Physical Scrutiny Mode: Visit a nearby scrutiny center, submit documents, and complete the verification process in person.
This new dual-option system brings convenience and accessibility, especially for working professionals who may not be able to travel.

Application Fee Structure for B. Pharmacy (Practice) 2025-26
Fees can be paid online via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI. No other payment method is allowed.
- General Category (All India & Maharashtra): ₹1000
- Reserved Category, Orphan, Transgender (Maharashtra Only): ₹800
Candidates claiming reservation must upload valid certificates (Caste/Tribe/Non-Creamy Layer/EWS) during verification. Failing to do so may lead to being treated as General category and could impact the admission chance.
Additional Instructions for Applicants
- If your application is not verified and confirmed, it will be rejected, and your name will not appear in the merit list.
- Candidates using reservation or special category status must upload supporting documents during verification. If missing, you must pay the fee difference of ₹200 online.
- Reserved category candidates (except SC/ST) must provide a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate (valid till 31st March 2026).
- EWS candidates need to submit the proper EWS Eligibility Certificate as per the state government guidelines.
