With the Maharashtra Board Exams for Std. 10 and Std. 12 students just around the corner, the state government has released certain rules to write the answer paper.
Now that the Covid-19 pandemic has passed, the Maharashtra State Board Exams are resuming in full swing. The examinations will be conducted as per original pre-pandemic rules. Some of the rules highlighted by the Education Minister are as follows:
Students need to strictly follow these rules while filling their answer booklets.
Due to the pressing circumstances of the pandemic, students were given many exam privileges in the last year. For example, they were allowed to appear for the Board examinations in their own schools and junior colleges. Similarly, they were given 15–30 minutes extra time to complete their exam. Based on the latest rules, these concessions have been revoked.
In addition to the aforementioned concessions, students were also allowed to see the Board Question Paper 10 minutes in advance. This facility has been cancelled due to issues with the question paper leaking. Students will now receive the question paper on time and their answer booklets will be collected in the same order they were distributed.
Since the HSC and SSC exams are being conducted after 2 years, to ensure students do not make mistakes while filling their answer booklets, all schools and junior colleges have been sent a circular with the new rules. School teachers and professors are expected to explain the rules to the students.
Appearing for the Board exams for the first time might seem daunting, but do not worry. As long as aspiring students follow the rules laid out by the state government and are well-prepared, cracking the Board exams will be a breeze.
We wish all the students appearing for the HSC and SSC Board exams the very best for their exams!
Stay tuned for the latest updates.
