The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has introduced a facility for students to report cases where colleges demand fees beyond the approved structure for professional courses.
Why Was the Maharashtra CET 2025 Helpline Introduced?
The step to launch a helpline for fee-related complaints comes after directions from the Higher and Technical Education Department. They received reports that some colleges were charging students additional amounts outside the official fee norms.
So, let’s take a look at how to file a fee-related complaint to the CET Cell Maharashtra.
How to File a College Fee Complaint to Maharashtra CET 2025?
You can now submit your complaints in the two ways given below:
By Phone:
Call 7700919894 between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on working days.
Online:
- Visit portal.maharashtracet.org
- Log in using your ID and password
- Click on ‘Open a New Ticket’
- Select ‘CAP (Centralised Admission Process)’as category
- Choose your course
- Under Query Type, select ‘CAP Enquiry’
- Under Query Subcategory, select ‘College Fee Complaint’
- Write your complaint with complete details.
- Attach proof such as receipts, notices, or letters.
- Click ‘Create Ticket’ to submit.
Important Details to Mention in Complaint
While filing a complaint, make sure to clearly mention the following details:
- Full Name
- College Name
- Course Name
- Fee Details (approved fees vs. extra charged amount)
