Hello CET aspirants!
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Examination Cell (CET Cell) has just announced the dates for the additional common entrance examination for MAH BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM-CET-2025.
You might remember that the initial CET for these courses (BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM-CET-2025) was held between 29 April and 30 April, 2025, with results declared on 04 June, 2025.
However, a lot of students couldn't make it to that exam, and the CET Cell has received many requests from candidates, parents, and even institutions for another chance.
A meeting was held on 05 June, 2025, and after discussion, the Hon. Minister of Higher and Technical Education Department, gave the green light for an additional common entrance examination.
So, here's what you need to know:
When is the Additional Exam for MAH BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM-CET-2025?
The additional online MAH BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM-CET-2025 examination will be conducted on 19 July, 2025, and 20 July, 2025.
Who can Apply?
MAH CET additional exam online applications were already invited from interested candidates, and a total of 40,667 candidates have already applied.
What if I Already Took the First MAH BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM-CET-2025 Exam?
Good news. Even if you appeared for the exam in April, you'll have the opportunity to take this additional exam for MAH BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM-CET-2025.
How will Scoring Work?
If you take both exams, the best of your two percentile scores will be considered for the admission process. You'll just need to upload the mark sheet with your best percentile on the system.
Pattern of the Additional MAH CET Exam and Results
This additional exam will follow the same format as the previous one, and results will also be declared using the percentile method.
Admission Process for Additional MAH CET 2025
Once the results for the additional exam are out, a combined merit list of students from both examinations will be released, and then the centralised admission process (CAP) will kick off.
