ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 Exam Results 2026

  • Result Declaration: Both ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 results will be declared between April–May 2026.
  • Result Availability: Results will not be provided at CISCE offices. They will be available only on the official website: www.cisce.org.
  • CCTV Monitoring: All candidates and examination functionaries will be under CCTV surveillance during exams.
  • Heads of Schools: Ensure students are fully trained to follow all instructions.

ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 Board Exam Dress Code

  • Students in Regular Attendance: School uniform.
  • Students Not in Regular Attendance: Light-coloured clothes.

Items Permitted in the ICSE and ISC Board Examination Hall 2026

  • Admission Card issued by CISCE.
  • Stationery: Pens (blue/black ink), pencils, scale, eraser, sharpener, coloured pencils, drawing instruments, and art material in a transparent pouch.
  • Class 12 ISC Only: Students may use Casio fx-82 MS or calculators with similar basic functions. Scientific calculators with information retrieval features are not allowed.

Items Not Permitted in the ICSE and ISC Board Examination Hall 2026

  • Textbooks, notes, chits, slips of paper, photocopies, memorandum, pocketbooks.
  • Electronic devices: mobile phones, smart watches, earphones, wireless devices, cameras.
  • Wallets, handbags, currency notes.
  • Any sharp object or weapon.

Important Guidelines for ICSE and ISC 2026 Board Candidates

CISCE has issued strict directions to candidates to ensure smooth and fair examination conduct:

Exam Day Instructions

  • Arrive 30 minutes before the exam begins.
  • Do not leave the hall until the exam ends.
  • If you receive the wrong question paper or missing materials, inform the Chief/Assistant Examiner immediately. Return any incorrect paper immediately.
  • Reading Time: 15 minutes is provided for reading the question paper. Do not write during this time.
  • Follow all instructions on the first page of the question paper (number of pages, number of questions to attempt).
  • Answer only the number of questions specified.
  • Manage your time carefully; avoid spending too much time on one or two questions.

Answer Booklet Instructions

  • Write your Unique ID, Index Number, and Subject on all sheets, continuation booklets, loose maps, and graph papers.
  • Use black or blue ink only. Pencils are allowed for diagrams.
  • Write neatly and legibly. Leave margins on both sides.
  • Start each subpart of a question on a new line and leave a line between answers.
  • Write on both sides unless prohibited by the rubric.
  • Perform rough work on the same sheet.
  • Continuation Booklets: Issued only after completing all pages of the current booklet. Attach all continuation sheets to the main booklet, fasten at the top-left corner, and submit unfolded.

ISC (Class 12) Practical and Project Work

  • Marks already awarded in Practical/Project Work in the main exam will be carried forward.
  • If absent earlier, candidates must submit the project or appear for practicals along with the theory paper.

Use of Unfair Means

Strict action will be taken against candidates using unfair means.

Prohibited Acts:

  1. Bringing/taking out answer scripts.
  2. Using electronic devices, notes, or textbooks.
  3. Substituting answer scripts or tampering with them.
  4. Impersonation or attempting to influence examiners.
  5. Disorderly conduct or causing disturbance in/near the exam hall.

Consequences:

  1. Confiscation of answer scripts.
  2. Immediate expulsion from the hall and cancellation of results (partial or full).
  3. Reporting to CISCE authorities or police.
  4. Schools with staff involved in malpractice may face restrictions for future examinations.

Recheck and Re-evaluation

Recheck Request

  1. Apply online within 4 days of result declaration.
  2. Fee per subject is payable online.

Recheck ensures:

  • All answers marked.
  • Marks correctly totaled and transferred.
  • Continuation sheets intact.

Results will be published on www.cisce.org.

Re-evaluation Request

  • Apply online within 3 days of recheck results.
  • Marks after re-evaluation are final, whether increased or decreased.
  • Fee is non-refundable.

ICSE and ISC  Improvement Examinations 2026

Candidates of ICSE and ISC may appear for Improvement Exams in the same year.

Eligibility:

  • Qualified (QLF), Not Qualified (NQLF), or candidates reappearing to improve marks.
  • ABSENT candidates are not eligible.

Subjects Allowed:

Maximum 3 subjects previously enrolled.

Papers:

  • Must appear for the theory paper.
  • ISC (Class 12) candidates may also appear for practicals/submit projects if absent earlier.

Registration:

Heads of Schools will register candidates online; dates will be announced later.

Important Notes

  • Candidates who fail ICSE/ISC 2026 may reappear in 2027 in all subjects.
  • Qualified candidates may appear for supplementary exams in 2027 for subjects previously offered.
  • Online registration for 2027 exams will open in July–August 2026.
